Solomon F. Schick

Solomon F. Schick, or Sol, as most know him, is the President and founder of Solomon F. Schick & Associates, Inc., which was established in 1965. Sol began his career in the insurance industry in 1963. He has continuously built his business on his reputation and his extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, from financial planning to employer group benefits.

Sol is a graduate of The Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, and has been a Certified Financial Planner since 1972. For the last 40 years, Sol has also been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has achieved the most prestigious distinction of Top of the Table Award. In 2005, Sol earned his Series 7 License, as well as his Series 39 license as a Broker/Dealer registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).



Melissa Deveaux

Melissa Deveaux is a graduate of Pace University in New York with a degree in Human Resources. Melissa moved to Florida in 1993 and pursued her career in Human Resources Management. After gaining 8 years experience in Human Resources with two major corporations, she decided to leave corporate America in search of a smaller firm. In 2002 Melissa joined Solomon F. Schick & Associates, Inc. and became a licensed insurance agent in 2003.

Today, Melissa is the Director of Client Services. Her primary role is to provide guidance to employers as their current employee benefits come up for renewal. Additionally, Melissa works with new clients to ensure the best benefit package is put into place for their employees. Melissa also works closely with employees and company administrators with issues that involve claims administration, billing questions, benefits eligibility, and benefit enrollments. Having a Human Resources background, Melissa is able to effectively communicate to employees at all levels, and also provide the proper guidance to company administrators.
